Groups & Activities

Jump and Jiggle

Jump and Jiggle is an active program for parents and very young children that is unique to the Kalamunda Uniting Church.

It has professional leadership supported by an active group of volunteers.

More information is available from our brochure.

Market Day

The first Saturday of each month is Market Day at Kalamunda Village – and we are open too!

The Kalamunda Uniting Church opens its doors each Market Day from 9.00am to midday, to serve morning teas, light lunches and sell craft at great prices.

So pop in after the bustle of the market and enjoy a peaceful, yummy and friendly recharge for the next part of your day!

Social Games

We have fun playing social games such as badminton.  Badminton is played on:

  • Monday afternoon, 1.00pm
  • Thursday morning, 9.00am
  • Wednesday evenings from 8.00pm

For more information, contact Peter (08) 9454 2043.

Creative Endeavour

An informal meeting place for people to work on their own creations in a friendly, supportive environment.

Come along and get creative with a project you’ve already started or begin something new.

Try cross-stitching; drawing; embroidery; knitting; memoir writing, painting; pottery; mosaics; reflection; sculpting; scrapbooking and upholstery; the choices are endless.

We meet at the Church on Thursdays at 12.30pm to set up for a fun filled afternoon that runs from 1.00pm–4.00pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Friday Afternoon Games

Join in a fun-filled afternoon of cards and games every Friday, commencing at 2.00pm, in the Church.

Break out the Mahjong or perhaps you prefer Canasta, Cribbage or board games. Whatever your game of choice, it is always more fun in company!

It’s free! For more information, call Wilma on 9293 3360.

We look forward to welcoming you and anyone you would like to bring along!

Sustainable Living

We are big believers of sustainable living and welcome ideas for activities or suggestions on how we as a church can improve our sustainability.

For instance, the photovoltaic panels installed on the church building are currently meeting a substantial proportion of the power used in the building.

Kalamunda Girls’ Brigade

The Kalamunda Girls’ Brigade provides school-aged girls with a safe community where they can make friends, enjoy fun activities (such as crafts, games and camps), and become closer to God.

Our aim is to help girls become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, and through self-control, reverence and sense of responsibility to find true enrichment of life.

The group meets every Tuesday evening from 6.15pm to 8.00pm during school term. For further information, please contact Carolyn Ebell-Taylor on (08) 9279 3114, email: ceb15225@bigpond.net.

The Girls’ Brigade WA Headquarters can be contacted via (08) 9478 1822 or their website at girlsbrigadewa.org.au.
